We saw and experienced so much, it would never have been possible on our own! Everything was perfectly planned and we didn't have to worry about anything, it was a great service. Our tour guide Melitta was like a Wikipedia and knew the answers to all our questions, plus she had a refreshing sense of humor and safely took us from one place to another. I would do the trip again at any time!

The trip "China Compact" lives up to its name. We saw a lot, the program was highly interesting and will remain unforgettable for us. The organization was consistently perfect, and to top it all off, our tour guide was exceptional. Melitta took excellent care of us in every respect, there is no better support. No wish was left unfulfilled.

The compact trip to China offers many highlights and was perfectly organized thanks to our friendly local guide (Melitta). For an initial overview of China, the trip is highly recommended. We were able to immerse ourselves in the lives of the people and enjoy very good food. The trip is primarily aimed at adventurous individuals for whom early rising and a long day on their feet is not a problem :) but breaks are also provided. The tour guide always motivated us very well and it was a lot of fun.

Our first tour with China Tours was simply overwhelming, a glimpse into a world that one only knows from one-sided reports. Our tour guide Melitta shared many exciting stories about the country and the people of China during this journey full of contrasts and cultural highlights. A mix of modern skylines, historical treasures like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Terracotta Army, and much more. We also saw impressive landscapes such as the karst mountains near Guilin and the rice terraces in Longsheng. And the Chinese cuisine, which tastes so different from what we have at home… Simply amazing 🥰

This compact trip includes a selection of destinations and modes of transportation that provide a good first impression of the country. What is commonly spread in Western societies about the land, its people, and the system (lack of freedom of movement, surveillance, control, etc.) turns out to be incorrect, or is explained differently, or makes sense in a different context. In a friendly manner, the local tour guide introduces us to their country and makes it appealing with a wide range of local delicacies.

Before the trip, we received excellent advice through direct and easy contact with Maria. The China Compact trip exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Exciting places with interesting itineraries and proximity to the locals. Good hotels. Perfect organization. Comfortable coaches with plenty of space. The tour guide Wang Yan (Melitta) was incredible. Extremely friendly, competent, very well organized, attentive, empathetic, and the restaurant choices with the dishes selected by Yan were simply a dream. Do we now know China? No, that is not possible, but we did not expect that either. However, we saw, heard, tasted, learned, and experienced many facets in a compact way. With lasting and unforgettable impressions and emotions in our 'luggage', we returned to Switzerland. China Tours does a great job. The group size of a maximum of 14 participants is an optimal approach. The optional additional activities were first-class and worthwhile. Despite a tight group schedule, we also had plenty of freedom for personal explorations. We are thrilled and recommend without reservation. Thank you Daniel & Eliane (couple, over 71).

In a compact way, we visited many impressive sights in China. The trip is highly recommended!

It was a great trip! In a short time, the competent, lovely, considerate, and experienced tour guide introduced us to China, its people, and culture. She also arranged theater visits, including an outdoor theater (by locals) by the river with a spectacular backdrop of the mountains. We were impressed by cities with impressive buildings and lighting, but also by nature, bamboo rafting, bike tours, park visits, climbing the Great Wall of China, and we really enjoyed staying in a small village in the middle of the rice fields. We also enjoyed the very good and diverse meals together, at a round table, which the tour guide selected for us every day in a traditional restaurant. A great idea for the last day (since our flight was booked for the evening) was the visit to the water village outside Shanghai, which the tour guide organized and showed us the culinary specialties, explaining them as well! Many warm greetings from Switzerland, Regina and Beat
