Africaventura was born from the deep wildlife passion of Emke Prakken, who launched the brand in 2021 after many years of living across East and Southern Africa. Originally from the Netherlands, Emke trained as a professional safari guide and turned her lifelong love for the continent into a mission: to share its true essence with travelers from around the world.

As part of Ventura Travel, Africaventura combines local expertise with global standards of quality and sustainability. Every journey is crafted with trusted partners who live and breathe Africa (guides, conservationists, and community leaders) to ensure travelers experience the continent with respect and authenticity.
