Workplace flexibility

How flexible work improves performance and balance

What comes to mind when you hear flexibility as a company perk? For many, it might be flexible working hours that allow you to prioritize family or personal passions. For others, flexibility might mean the freedom to choose your work location, maybe trying out a new spot in Europe or spending some time in the Galápagos while staying connected. It could also mean flexibility in the type of projects you take on, giving you opportunities to explore new areas and grow professionally.

At Ventura, all of these forms of flexibility are possible, and they are one of the main reasons why our vMembers love being part of our community.

Flexible Hours As an international company, we know that our team members live across many time zones and that productivity looks different for everyone. Some people do their best work in the early morning, while others are more focused later in the day. That is why our approach allows you to coordinate your schedule with your manager, aligning on hours that work best for you. We only ask that you remain available during our company’s prime connection hours, when collaboration flows more easily and you can connect with colleagues from different cultures.

Work from Anywhere As a travel company, discovering new places is part of our DNA. Our team spans four continents and more than 40 cities, and we fully support vMembers who choose to work while exploring new destinations. Personally, I have worked from Curaçao, am currently writing this from Peru, and call Colombia my home base. The freedom to combine work and travel is one of the most rewarding aspects of being part of Ventura.

Flexibility in Projects Beyond time and location, flexibility also extends to the work itself. At Ventura, we value curiosity and growth. While we have clear goals to accomplish as a company, we encourage vMembers to take part in projects that align with their skills and interests. This not only allows our people to grow professionally, but it also ensures that their work remains meaningful and motivating.

Flexibility at Ventura is more than just a policy, it is part of our culture. It empowers vMembers to design a work life that fits their unique rhythms, passions, and ambitions, while still contributing to a shared purpose. By embracing flexibility in hours, location, and projects, we create an environment where our people can thrive, stay inspired, and keep building unforgettable experiences for our travelers.
