Safeguarding the Amazon and its countless species

Help that directly strengthens indigenous protectors

What Forest Guardians stands for

Forest Guardians protects the Amazon by strengthening the communities who have safeguarded it for generations. Instead of charity, the initiative focuses on empowerment, land rights, and regenerative action. Through reforestation, legal defense, cultural preservation, and sustainable income alternatives, Forest Guardians helps indigenous families continue their role as protectors of one of Earth’s most vital ecosystems.

From Responsibility to Active Regeneration

Forest Guardians Logo 600px

Forest Guardians was created from the belief that responsible tourism, while valuable, is not enough in regions facing rapid deforestation and industrial pressure. The initiative moves beyond awareness and into action by supporting indigenous communities defending their ancestral lands. Through direct collaboration, financial backing, and long-term capacity building, Forest Guardians helps ensure that threatened rainforest territories remain protected for generations.

Meet the Team

Forest Guardians was initiated by Andre, Camilo and Marie, combining entrepreneurial vision, local Amazonian partnership and social-impact leadership. Andre brought the drive to turn responsible tourism into active rainforest protection. Camilo contributed deep regional understanding and trusted relationships with indigenous communities, ensuring all projects are rooted in their needs and autonomy. Marie added structure, transparency and long-term impact strategy through her experience with V Social Foundation.

Meet Sinchi Warmi

The Sinchi Warmi are more than guardians. They are the living bridge between forest, culture, and future. Their ancestral cosmovision reminds us that living in harmony with nature means recognizing that we are nature, inseparable parts of one living system. For generations, these Kichwa women and men have walked the forest trails that surround them, known the songs of the birds, and the healing power of its plants.

Preservation with Purpose and Long-Term Impact

Reforestation

Forest Guardians funds reforestation, territorial rights defense, and sustainable eco-tourism projects that align with community priorities. Each action is designed to reinforce ecological balance while empowering families who rely on the forest for identity, livelihood, and future opportunity.

Support from Travelers

Every Ventura TRAVEL journey contributes to these initiatives, allowing travelers to directly support conservation through responsible tourism. Visitors become allies, generating income that strengthens local autonomy and environmental resilience.

Long-Term Impact

By transforming tourism into a regenerative force, Forest Guardians helps ensure that the Amazon remains a thriving, living ecosystem. The initiative stands for long-term impact, community leadership, and a model of conservation rooted in respect rather than extraction.
